Sometimes I Lie is a fast-paced story with a twist

A Review by Stacy Roy

Sometimes I Lie is a fast-paced psychological thriller with a twist at the end written by Alice Feeney. You can find the e-book on Overdrive. If you would prefer to listen to this book on audio, both Overdrive and Hoopla have it, it’s a little over nine hours.

I really liked this book, the story hooked me from the very beginning. The main character, Amber, wakes up in the hospital, but she’s in a coma. Amber is unable to speak, open her eyes nor move. She can hear everyone around her, but they don’t know it.

The author does a great job keeping the mystery going throughout the story. Just when you think you have things figured out you don’t. The story is full of surprise twist and turns till the very last page. Sometimes I Lie is a must read for anyone who enjoys a good and cleverly written novel. I highly recommend this will not regret it.
